The high school soccer season is heating up in Georgia, and three weeks in, we’re already seeing plenty of shake-ups across the rankings! Some powerhouses are solidifying their dominance, while surprise teams are making waves early in the campaign. Here’s the latest breakdown of who’s climbing, who’s falling, and who’s ready to make a statement on the pitch.
Class 6A: Steady at the Top, but Brookwood and Lambert Climb
West Forsyth continues to hold the No. 1 spot, followed closely by Buford and Walton. But keep an eye on Brookwood, which has jumped to No. 6 with a strong start to the season. Lambert makes its first appearance in the top 10, sneaking in at No. 10 after impressive performances.
Class 5A: A Major Shake-Up
Roswell stays dominant at No. 1, but behind them, it’s a different story! Pope drops to No. 4, allowing Lassiter and Northgate to move up to No. 2 and No. 3. Meanwhile, Alexander falls to No. 9, and Johns Creek and Habersham Central push their way up to No. 7 and No. 8, respectively.
Class 4A: Climbing the Ladder
Blessed Trinity and Northside-Columbus make big jumps to No. 2 and No. 3, while Westminster and Midtown slide to No. 6 and No. 7. Harris County and Allatoona break into the rankings, debuting at No. 9 and No. 10.
Class 3A: Harlem Rises, Northwest Whitfield Falls
Harlem leaps from No. 10 to No. 7, while Northwest Whitfield drops out of the top 10, opening the door for Southeast Bulloch to claim the No. 10 spot.
Class 2A: A Single Change Shakes Things Up
Pierce County jumps to No. 9, and Sonoraville cracks the top 10 at No. 10 after Shaw drops out.
Class A-DI: Toombs County Surging
Toombs County moves up from No. 7 to No. 5 with a 4-1 start, and Woodville-Tompkins makes its rankings debut at No. 10 after an impressive 6-1 start to the season.
Class A-DII: Lake Oconee Academy Falls, Georgia Military on the Rise
After a tough 1-2 start, Lake Oconee Academy slips from No. 1 to No. 5. Meanwhile, Georgia Military leaps from No. 10 to No. 6, and Irwin County enters the rankings for the first time this season.
Class 1A-3A Private: Savannah Squads Making Noise
Savannah Arts and Savannah Country Day surge to No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, while Paideia drops out, allowing Whitefield Academy to grab the No. 10 spot.
Boys Soccer Rankings: Who’s on Top?
Class 6A is led by Archer, with Lambert, Norcross, South Forsyth, and North Atlanta rounding out the top five.
In Class 5A, River Ridge is holding strong at No. 1, followed by McIntosh, Johns Creek, Gainesville, and Sprayberry.
Westminster leads the way in Class 4A, with Perry, St. Pius X, Dalton, and Marist close behind.
Northwest Whitfield sits atop Class 3A, while Columbus takes the No. 1 spot in Class 2A.
Toombs County reigns supreme in Class A-DI, while Georgia Military leads the pack in Class A-DII.
Atlanta International is the top-ranked squad in Class 1A-3A Private, ahead of Hebron, Providence, Whitefield Academy, and Savannah Country Day.
