ATLANTA, GEORGIA—The Kennesaw State University women’s soccer team will have their hands full during fall as far as the team’s soccer schedule is concerned.
Based on the schedule released by KSU head coach Benji Walton the games of his team this year will include five non-conference games in Fifth Third Bank Stadium, matchups against in-state competition and first-time opponents, and a late August fixture against a top-50 RPI opponent.
Walton said his team’s campaign this year will start with a trip to Charlotte, N.C. for a battle against UNC-Charlotte on Aug. 19.
Meanwhile, KSU will begin its homestand against UAB on Aug. 22 at the Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
After their first home game, KSU will l travel to the College of Charleston before returning home for a challenge against Samford, as the Bulldogs are ranked 49th in the NCAA’s RPI rankings after their 8-2-3 spring season.
In September, KSU will have five home games that start against Boston College on September 5.
After Boston, KSU will also play Mercer and Wofford before beginning ASUN play against North Alabama on Sept. 23.
