Jase McDowell, a South Carolina high school soccer player, is at last spending time at home after suffering a serious brain bleed during a match in March. The 15-year-old stated, “I’m mostly just missing my house, my friends, and my family.”

Jase underwent three surgeries after his injury. When his memory finally returned, he was deprived of an experience that all teenagers eagerly await. “I didn’t get my driver’s license, which is a significant life achievement,” Jase remarked.

He has been having therapy in Atlanta to improve his gait and stamina. Jase McDowell working out in an Atlanta medical center. Thank you, Amanda McDowell. “Two and half weeks ago I couldn’t even walk at all and now I’m walking on my own going up stairs, walking around zoos and going down the street to Chick-fil-A and Olive Garden,” said the man.

Jase has been playing soccer at the hospital as well.

Next week, Jase will be back in Atlanta. He will spend many weeks in an intense outpatient program. He stated that his objective is to surpass his pre-injury state.
