Atlanta, it’s time to show the world what we’re all about!
The Official FIFA World Cup 26™ Atlanta Host City Poster has just been unveiled, and it’s a bold, vibrant tribute to our city’s skyline, culture, and deep connection to the beautiful game. Designed by Atlanta United’s own Jose Hadathy, this stunning masterpiece blends local landmarks with soccer’s unifying power—setting the stage for the biggest event in our city’s sports history.
Hadathy, a Savannah College of Art and Design graduate who moved to Atlanta from Ecuador as a child, poured his love for the city into the design. At the heart of the poster? A Southern peach, symbolizing our famous hospitality. The artwork also features the Midtown and Downtown skylines, MARTA, and a leafy, dreamlike rendering of Mercedes-Benz Stadium—the cathedral of soccer in the South.
But it doesn’t stop there. The poster gives nods to Atlanta’s rich history and culture, including the Georgia State Capitol, Krog Street Tunnel, Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birth Home, Midtown’s Rainbow Crosswalks, and a station soccer pitch—a symbol of the sport’s growing roots in our community.
Hadathy says his goal was to capture Atlanta’s energy, passion for soccer, and the electric atmosphere that will come when the 2026 FIFA World Cup arrives.
“With eight World Cup matches heading to Atlanta, the world will have its eyes on our city like never before,” Hadathy said. “I wanted to create something that authentically connects with locals while inspiring visitors to explore our incredible home.”
As FIFA rolls out posters for each host city, Atlanta’s already stands out—bold, dynamic, and unmistakably ATL.
