ATLANTA, GEORGIA—When it rains it will certainly pour.
That is what happened to Atlanta United 2 FC who finally nail down a win on August 8 after suffering a 1-3 defeat against Birmingham Legion at BBVA Field last August 4.
Playing in front of its fans, United 2 FC demolish Indy Eleven 6-2 at the Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
Tyler Wolff who started the scoring for United 2 FC is very hot in the game as he ended up with a hat trick and registered an assist.
Aside from Wolff, Darwin Matheus, Amadou Macky Diop, and David Mejia also each netted a goal of their en route to the big win at home.
The hat trick of Wolff is special since it is the first hat trick for a United 2 FC player since August of 2019.
United 2 FC (5-7-6, 21 points) hopes to make it a back-to-back win when they host the OKC Energy FC on August 11 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium (ESPN+, 7:30 p.m. ET).
