ATLANTA, GEORGIA—The dream of Atlanta United 2 FC to end their United Soccer League (USL) Championship regular campaign on a good note has ended in a nightmare.
On October 20, the visiting United 2 FC suffered a 0-4 beating at the hands of the home team FC Tulsa at ONEOK Field.
The visiting United 2 FC played well in the entire game but the home team just did not give them a chance to score a goal.
With loss United 2 FC ended their USL campaign with an 8-14-10 mark in the USL Championship Central Division.
On October 16, the visiting United 2 FC also suffered a 2-4 defeat at the hands of the home team Memphis 901 FC at AutoZone Park.
Coming off a win to keep their playoff hopes alive on Wednesday, United 2 FC played aggressively in the entire game.
However, in the end, the home team proved to be much better as they come up with four winning goals.
The two goals of United 2 FC were provided by Abdoulaye Diop and Ajani Fortune.
