ATLANTA, GEORGIA—The Atlanta United 2 FC hopes to capitalize on its home crowd when they play host to the dangerous FC Tulsa on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. ET at the Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
Coming off a 2-2 draw against OKC Energy FC last Sunday, the home team United 2 will have its hands full against the undefeated Tulsa.
The visiting Tulsa is slightly favored to beat United 2 since they came off a 2-0 win against Indy Eleven last May 8.
With its spotless slate, Tulsa is the current leader of the Central division of the United Soccer League (USL) Championships.
To pull an upset against Tulsa, United 2 needs to play tough defense and steady offense in the entire game.
United 2 also hopes to get the same scoring from Matías Benítez and Homegrown Tyler Wolff who both scored the goals against Energy.
Wednesday’s match marks the first-ever meeting between the two clubs and it is the first of four matchups this season.
