ATLANTA, GEORGIA—The dream of Atlanta United 2 FC for a back to back wins at home at the Fifth Third Bank Stadium is now a thing of the past.
This scenario developed after the home team United 2 only managed to salvage a 2-2 draw against the visiting Sporting Kansas City (KC) 11 on Wednesday night.
The visiting KC 11 started strong in the match as star striker Enoch Mushagalusa scored in the 61st minute of the game.
The home team was able to equalize in the 67’ minute after Bradley Kamdem scored a goal.
But two minutes later, Mushagalusa scored his second goal in the match to put his team ahead 2-1.
As the visitors take the lead in the last few minutes of the game, United 2 scored a come from behind goal from Coleman Gannon in the 74th minute to tie the game at 2-2.
Atlanta United hopes to get back to its bearing when they visit the dangerous Memphis 901 FC on June 17 at the AutoZone Park.
