ATLANTA, GEORGIA—Atlanta United 2 FC hopes to win its second straight game when they host the dangerous Sporting Kansas City (KC) 11 on June 9 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium (ESPN+, 7:30 p.m. ET).
United 2 (3-2-2, 11 points) is slightly favored to beat Kansas City due to the superb play of star striker Aiden McFadden.
Playing in front of their fans, newly hired head coach Jack Collison is also eager to perform well and get his second win in the United Soccer League (USL) championship.
To bring down Kansas City, United 2 goalkeeper Alec Kann also needs to continue to play well on defense and not allow the visitors to score a goal in their game.
The visiting Kansans City is also hoping for a back-to-back win against Atlanta 2 United.
The team got its first win last June against FC Tulsa.
To beat United 2, Kansas City needs to stop McFadden in the entire game.
