ATLANTA, GEORGIA—The dream of Atlanta United 2 FC to finally end their losing woes will have to take a backseat once again.
The visiting United 2 FC suffered a 2-3 defeat at the hands of the home team Rio Grande Valley FC on Sept. 25 at H-E-B Park.
The loss is the third straight for the road-weary United 2 FC.
United 2 FC players Amadou Macky scored his third goal this season and Darwin Matheus recorded his sixth goal of the season.
The home team played aggressively all game long as they always look for a chance to score which was rewarded with three winning goals.
United 2 FC (7-12-8, 29 points) hopes to finally end their losing woes when they host the dangerous Louisville City FC at 7:30 on Sept. 29 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium (ESPN+, 7:30 p.m. ET).
