ATLANTA, GEORGIA—The Atlanta United 2 FC hopes to get back to the winning track when they visit the dangerous Birmingham Legion FC on Wednesday night at BBVA Compass Field in Birmingham, Alabama.
Coming off a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the OKC Energy FC Sunday night in Kennesaw, the United 2 FC (3-4-3, 12 points) is the underdog against the home team Legion (6-3-1, 19 points).
Beating the Legion who is on top of the Central Division will be tough, but United 2 FC lead by their coach Jack Collison is very focused and determined to eked out a win come game-time.
To beat the Legion United 2 FC striker Aiden McFadden need to play superbly in the entire game.
Aside from McFadden, Matías Benítez who netted Atlanta’s lone goal in their recent defeat also needs to play solid on Wednesday night.
The home team for its part can avoid the upset ax if they can come up with a good game plan against United 2 FC.
