ATLANTA, GEORGIA—The Atlanta United 2 FC hopes to get back to its winning ways when they visit the Memphis 901 FC Wednesday night at AutoZone Park in Memphis, Tennessee.
Coming off a 2-2 draw against Sporting KC II at the Fifth Third Bank Stadium evening of June 10, United 2 is very focused on beating the home team Memphis.
To bring down Memphis, United 2 star striker Aiden McFadden needs to get back to his scoring ways after he failed to score in their last game at home.
The home team for its part is also determined to win and bounced back from its 3-0 loss to Louisville City FC.
This is the second meeting of United 2 and Memphis after their initial meeting this year ended in a 2-2 draw at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
Wednesday’s match will be Memphis’ home opener after playing five straight games on the road to start the 2021 season.
