ATLANTA, GEORGIA—Atlanta United 2 FC hopes to get a win when they host the visiting Sporting Kansas City II on July 10 at the Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
Playing their third home game this week, United 2 FC is very determined to eke out a win against the dangerous Kansas City II.
The home team is very determined to win since their last home against Indy Eleven on July 7 ended in a 1-1 draw.
Playing its second of a three-game homestand, United 2 FC started strong in the game but Indy goalkeeper Eric Dick stopped all their goal attempts.
In the 64th minute, Indy stun the host after Jordan Hamilton scored a goal over United 2 FC goalkeeper Rocco Rios Novo.
Sensing an urgency to score to avoid defeat, United 2 FC played more aggressively and eventually scored a goal in the 73rd minute courtesy of Connor Stanley.
To bring down Kansas City, United 2 FC needs to play solid in the entire game.
United 2 FC should do its best to attack at all opportunities and play tough defense at the same time.
