Atlanta United 2 announced a significant venue change for the remainder of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season, confirming that its final six home matches will be played at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground in Marietta.
The move begins with Sunday’s matchup against New York City FC II, although that contest will be played behind closed doors before fans are welcomed back for the club’s remaining home fixtures.
Closed-Door Match Opens New Chapter
Atlanta United 2’s first match at its new home will take place on Sunday, July 26, against New York City FC II, with kickoff moved to 11:00 a.m. ET.
While the opening match will not be open to spectators, supporters will still be able to watch the action live through the club’s regular broadcast partners, including the OneFootball app and the MLS NEXT Pro YouTube channel.
Beginning with the club’s next home fixture on Friday, July 31, against Carolina Core FC, fans will once again be able to attend matches free of charge.
Free Admission for Remaining Home Fixtures
Atlanta United 2 announced that admission for all remaining home matches at the training ground will be free, although supporters must secure a valid ticket before arriving.
Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis through Ticketmaster, accessible via the Atlanta United 2 website.
The club also noted that:
- Parking will be available off-site, with additional details to be announced.
- Fans must comply with the Mercedes-Benz Stadium bag policy and prohibited items list before entering the facility.
- Accredited media will continue to have access to all matches.
The move gives Atlanta United supporters another opportunity to watch many of the organization’s top young prospects in a more intimate setting as the regular season enters its final stretch.
