ATLANTA, GEORGIA—Looks like Atlanta United 2 FC is not in sync with the winning ways of its sister team Atlanta United FC in Major League Soccer.
On Wednesday night, United 2 FC suffered its second straight defeat at home with a 0-4 defeat at the hands of Birmingham Legion FC at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
Playing in front of its fans, United 2 FC which welcomed the debut of Nigel Prince played flat in the entire game and allowed the Legion to score multiple goals against them.
Having suffered a 0-2 defeat at the hands of Tampa Bay Rowdies 0-2 on September 18 at the Fifth Third Bank Stadium, United 2 FC tried to play with more energy but the Legion refused to provide them a chance to score a goal in their game.
United 2 FC (7-11-8, 29 points) hopes to regain back its winning ways when they visit the Rio Grande Valley FC at 8:30 on Sept. 25 at H-E-B Park (ESPN+, 8:30 p.m. ET).
