ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A revitalized Atlanta United is gearing up for the 2025 season, with a schedule that promises high-stakes matchups and exciting home games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Key Dates to Watch
- Season Opener: Atlanta kicks off its campaign on Feb. 22 at home against CF Montréal.
- First Road Game: The Five Stripes travel to face rivals Charlotte FC on March 1.
- Inter Miami Showdown: On March 16, Atlanta hosts Chris Henderson’s former club, Inter Miami, with the possibility of Lionel Messi gracing the Benz.
Revenge Against Orlando City
Orlando City, which ended Atlanta’s 2024 playoff hopes, will host the Five Stripes on April 26. Atlanta gets its chance for payback at home on May 28.
Summer Road Trip
From May 31 to July 12, Atlanta will embark on a challenging six-match road stretch as Mercedes-Benz Stadium hosts FIFA Club World Cup matches. The Club World Cup features notable games, including Inter Miami facing FC Porto.
The road trip is flanked by two three-match homestands, giving Atlanta fans plenty of opportunities to cheer on their team.
