ATLANTA — Atlanta United officially announced its 2026 preseason schedule on Tuesday as preparations ramp up for the upcoming Major League Soccer campaign. The club will play four preseason matches before opening the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 21, against FC Cincinnati at TQL Stadium (4:30 p.m. ET | Apple TV, FOX, FOX Deportes).
Preseason Begins in Atlanta, Moves to Miami
Atlanta United will open preseason activities on Saturday, Jan. 10, with the first training session open to media scheduled for Monday, Jan. 12 at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground in Marietta. Media members must RSVP by contacting communications@atlutd.com.
After an initial week of training in Atlanta, the team will travel to Miami for a training camp at Florida International University from Jan. 20–26, allowing head coach Gerardo “Tata” Martino and his staff to continue evaluating the roster in warmer conditions.
Lexington SC Friendly Opens Match Slate
Upon returning to Georgia, Atlanta United will play its first preseason match on Friday, Jan. 30, hosting Lexington SC at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground. Kickoff is set for 11:00 a.m. ET, with the match open to media and streamed live at atlutd.com/live.
Torneo de Tejas Highlights Final Tune-Ups
Atlanta will then head to Texas for the final phase of preseason, competing in the inaugural Torneo de Tejas, hosted by FC Dallas and Houston Dynamo. The club will face:
- Houston Dynamo on Feb. 7 at Shell Energy Stadium
- Red Bull New York on Feb. 11 at Toyota Stadium
- FC Dallas on Feb. 14 at Toyota Stadium
All three matches will be open to the media and serve as Atlanta’s final tune-ups before the MLS season opener.
