ATLANTA — MLS NEXT announced today that two standout Atlanta United Academy players — goalkeeper Jonathan Ransom and midfielder DD Sibrian — have been named to the 2025 MLS NEXT All-Star Game presented by Allstate. The match, featuring the top youth talent across North America in an East vs. West format, will be held on Monday, July 21 at 7:30 p.m. CT at Parmer Field, home of Austin FC II in Austin, Texas.
This marks the third time in four editions that Atlanta United has had at least two representatives named to the prestigious youth showcase.
Ransom and Sibrian: Future Stars on the Rise
Ransom, a Canadian U-17 international and standout for Atlanta’s U-17 squad, tallied nine clean sheets during the 2024-25 MLS NEXT season. He gained national attention during the 2025 Generation adidas Cup, making two clutch saves in a penalty shootout against Inter Milan’s U-18 team, earning MLS NEXT Player of the Day honors. He has also featured for Atlanta United 2, making four professional appearances and recording a career 83.3% save percentage.
Sibrian, a dynamic midfielder from Lawrenceville, Georgia, started all five matches during the U-16s’ run to the MLS NEXT Cup final, scoring once. Over the season, he contributed three goals and one assist in 25 matches (23 starts). He also earned time with the U-18 side at the Generation adidas Cup, where he scored a goal during their journey to the semifinals. Sibrian made his pro debut on June 11 with Atlanta United 2, appearing as a second-half substitute against Huntsville City FC.

The MLS NEXT All-Star Game brings together 44 of the top young players in North America, integrating them into MLS All-Star Week activities alongside senior professionals. The match will be free to attend with registration and streamed live on the MLS YouTube channel.
