ATLANTA, GEORGIA—The dream of the Atlanta United 2 FC to avoid back-to-back defeats ended on a nightmare on July 17 at Lynn Family Stadium.
The visiting United 2 FC suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Louisville City FC.
Coming off a 1-0 defeat against the visiting Sporting Kansas City II on their third game at home last July 10 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium, United 2 FC started strong in the game.
Aside from its desire to eke out a win, United 2 FC are also playing inspired since Atlanta United Academy player Noah Cobb started in his first professional game at the age of 15.
However, the home team is very focused on beating United 2 FC as they were able to get two goals in their match from Napo Matsoso 54’ and LOU Jame McLaughlin 63’.
United 2 FC (3-6-5, 14 points) hopes to avoid three straight defeats when they host the FC Tulsa on July 28 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium (ESPN+, 7:30 p.m).
