ATLANTA, GEORGIA –After three successive euphoric wins, Gonzalo Pineda and his troops are back to the drawing board once again.
This scenario developed after  Atlanta United FC suffered a heartbreaking 0-1 defeat at the hands of the home team Philadelphia Union FC on September 23 at the Subaru Park.
The visiting United FC played well in the entire game behind the huge defensive effort of veteran goalkeeper Brad Guzan who had eight saves.
However, Guzan failed to stop Union’s leading scorer Kacper Przybylko who scored in the 71st minute.
The United FC also missed scoring leader Josef Martinez who is out due to an injury.
Pineda said the team is not as sharp compared to their last three games that resulted in their defeat.
United FC hopes to regain back its winning touch when they host Inter Miami FC on September 30 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
