ATLANTA, GEORGIA—The quest to get back to its winning ways remains elusive for Atlanta United FC.
On Thursday evening, the visiting United FC salvages a 2-2 draw against the home team Nashville SC at Nissan Stadium.
United FC started strong in the game as they scored the first goal in the first minutes of the game from Anton Walkes courtesy of an assist from Jake Mulraney.
The home team equalizes the score at 1-1 after Jalil Anibaba scored on the 14′ minute.
The home team took the driver’s seat after Hany Mukhtar scored on the 49′ minute.
Sensing danger United FC equalize the score at 2-2 after homegrown player scored 10 minutes later.
At that juncture, it became a see-saw battle between the two teams until the final buzzer sounded.
United FC (2-3-7, 13 points) hopes to regain back its winning form on Saturday, July 17 when they host the New England Revolution at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (5 p.m., ESPN, Sports Radio 92-9 The Game, La Mejor).
