Playing in front of their fans, CF Montreal started strong in the match as they eked out a 2-0 lead in the game.
Sensing the danger of another loss, United FC star striker Josef Martinez make it 2-1 after he scored in the 65th minute of the game.
After United FC scored a goal, CF Montreal tightened even further their defense to stop the team from scoring again.
As Montreal is headed to a win in the waning seconds of the game, Marcelino Moreno scored another goal for United FC in the 76th minute.
The Moreno goal proved to be crucial for United FC as it allowed the team to tie the game at 2-all.
United FC (2-6-9, 15 points) hopes to get back to its winning ways when it returns to action Saturday when it travels to face Columbus Crew at Field (7:30 p.m., Bally Sports South, Sports Radio 92-9 The Game, La Mejor).
