ATLANTA, GEORGIA—As a form of public service, the Atlanta United FC is set to offer free COVID-19 vaccinations at Mercedes-Benz Stadium this Saturday, May 15 (7:00 p.m., Bally Sports Southeast).
The vaccinations on Saturday in partnership with Atlanta-Fulton County Emergency Management, Fulton Board of Health will be done as the team hosts the visiting CF Montreal.
In a press release statement, Atlanta United said there are two vaccination locations, one inside of Mercedes-Benz Stadium for ticketed fans, and one outside the gates, which will be accessible to all members of the public.
The Atlanta United added the availability will follow FDA and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP as part of the CDC) guidelines.
All minors who wished to be vaccinated need to have a consent form signed by their guardian.
Moreover, Atlanta United said the public will be able to receive either their first or second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
Those who wish to have a second dose of vaccine just need to show a physical or digital copy of a vaccination card showing proof of the first Pfizer vaccine being administered more than three weeks before Saturday, May 15 (i.e. on or before April 24) will be required.
For those who will have their vaccine for the first time always bear in mind that no materials are required to obtain the first dose.
