Atlanta United announced the signing of Will Reilly as a Homegrown Player, securing the talented midfielder through the 2025 MLS season, with options extending through 2028. The Decatur, Georgia native is a product of Atlanta United’s inaugural Academy roster and just concluded a stellar collegiate career at Stanford University.
Academy to Pro: Reilly’s Journey
Reilly joined Atlanta United’s Academy in 2016, captaining the U-17 team during his development years. He made his professional debut for Atlanta United 2 in the USL Championship on July 13, 2019, amassing 35 appearances and two assists over two years with ATL UTD 2.
In 2021, Reilly signed with Stanford, where he became an integral part of the team. Across 75 matches, he tallied 11 goals and 17 assists, starting 63 games and earning numerous accolades, including CSC Academic All-America Second Team honors.
