ATLANTA, Ga. – (Monday, June 23, 2025) – Atlanta United announced today that defender Derrick Williams is expected to be out of action for the next three to four weeks. Williams suffered a partial tear of the peroneal longus tendon in his right foot. His timeline for return to play will be determined by his rehabilitation process.
This injury comes as Atlanta United (4-9-5, 17 points) prepares to return to MLS action this Wednesday, June 25. The Five Stripes will travel to Lower.com Field to face the Columbus Crew at 7:30 p.m. ET.
