ATLANTA, GEORGIA—Dreams do come true.
A Brazilian football fan got a once-of-a-lifetime chance of having his FC Barcelona back tattoo signed by no less Argentine football superstar Lionel Messi over the weekend outside a hotel in Brazil.
Igor Magalhaes was star-struck when Messi decided to sign his tattoo which depicts a huge image of Lionel Messi tattooed across his entire back which he inked in 2019.
According to reports, the vast tattoo took three sessions to complete and shows Messi celebrating his late winning goal (also his 500th during his career) in a 3-2 victory against Real Madrid in 2017 — the Barcelona star holding his No.10 shirt aloft to a silenced Bernabeu crowd.
“Now I can die in peace,” Magalhaes wrote on Instagram after Messi personally signed his tattoo.
Messi for his part decided to sign the tattoo since he finds it nice and wants to make Magalhaes happy for doing such one of a kind tattoo.
The gesture of Messi signing the tattoo of a Barca fan could signify the football superstar is set to sign a new deal and stay with Barcelona once his contract ends this month.
