ATLANTA – Aris Briggs of Georgia State University was named to the 2019 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Second Team, the organization announced.
Briggs was one of 22 Division I men’s soccer players to earn the Scholar All-American honors, which is awarded to student-athletes who own a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) or better throughout their career, started in over half of all games and was a significant contributor to the team, and is a junior or above in academic standing.
