It’s been a standout season for Clayton State women’s soccer star Carrie Consolino, and the accolades just keep coming! On Tuesday, the United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced their 2024 Women’s Soccer All-Southeast Region teams, and Consolino earned a well-deserved spot on the second team.

A Season to Remember

Hailing from Peachtree City, Consolino’s 2024 campaign was nothing short of spectacular. Her honors this season include First Team All-Peach Belt Conference (PBC), D2CCA First-Team All-Southeast Region, and Second-Team D2CCA All-America—an impressive collection that highlights her dominance on the field.

Consolino’s stats this season tell the story of her impact:

  • 19 goals (tied for second nationally and second in the PBC)
  • 4 assists
  • 42 points (fifth nationally)
  • 71 shots

She displayed an incredible knack for finding the back of the net, scoring in 10 of her 17 matches, with five multi-goal games, including two hat tricks.

Breaking Records

One of the season’s highlights came when Consolino shattered the Clayton State single-match record by racking up 11 points against Shorter—an unforgettable performance that solidified her as one of the top forwards in the nation.

National Leaderboard

Consolino finished the season among the elite scorers in the nation, trailing only Flagler’s Andrea Fernandez, who netted 22 goals. Her consistent performance propelled the Lakers and showcased her ability to deliver in big moments.
