ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia soccer team has been recognized as an Academic Team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for the 2013-14 school year, the organization announced Monday.

The award is the 12th straight for the Bulldogs. In order to qualify, teams must maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average as a group.

A total of 861 collegiate soccer teams (279 men, 582 women) were honored.
