Today, Atlanta United 2 declared that it had fulfilled its right to keep defender Ethan Dudley under contract until the 2024–2025 season. On May 16, Dudley first signed a two-month contract with ATL UTD 2.
Dudley has played in seven games since moving to Atlanta, starting four of them, and tallying six shots and one assist. After playing for Eastern Conference winners Crown Legacy FC in 2023 and joining with Union Omaha (USL League One) for its postseason run, the former Northwestern standout joined ATL UTD 2.
Atlanta United 2 (3-8-4, 15 points) will travel again on Sunday, July 21 (5:00 p.m. ET, Apple TV – MLS Season Pass, Soccer Down Here) when they play Crown Legacy FC at Sportsplex at Matthews.
