Defender Eva Diez Lois has inked a professional contract with Getafe in Spain, as revealed by head coach Ed Joyce.

Diez Lois, a standout player for the Georgia State women’s soccer team, earned consecutive selections to the All-Sun Belt second team in 2022 and 2023. Hailing from Santander, Spain, she boasts an impressive record of 77 starts, amassing 15 points and maintaining a 0.442 percent shot accuracy. Additionally, she clinched two game-winning goals during her tenure.
In her final season with the Panthers, Diez Lois started in 16 matches, accumulating a total of 1368 minutes on the field. Notably, she contributed one goal while averaging 1.00 shots per game. Her fifth-year stint as a defensive player reached its climax with a career-high of four shots in the decisive match against conference rival Georgia Southern.
