For the first time, eMLS will bring together all 26 MLS clubs and their respective local esports competitors, representing 17 U.S.-based clubs and 9 Canadian-based clubs in a season-long competition to determine who is crowned as the best FIFA 23 player in North America. Along with participating in the two marquee League Series events and the eMLS Cup, players also have opportunities to compete for additional points by participating in various Regional Qualifying Tournaments hosted by each club. Points accrued during these tournaments will help decide which competitors qualify for the Playoffs preceding the eMLS Cup.
