Georgia Southern men’s soccer continued its historic run Tuesday night, claiming a gritty 2-1 comeback victory over the College of Charleston. Down 1-0 at halftime, the Eagles bounced back with goals from Harvey Sarajian and Ryan Holmes to secure the win, marking the best start in program history at 4-0-3.
Georgia Southern is now one of just three Sun Belt teams remaining unbeaten.
“It was our first win in three games, so it’s nice to get back to winning ways,” said head coach Lee Squires. “Charleston is a really good team, and to get that win is pretty special.”
The Eagles’ next challenge? A home showdown against the undefeated No. 10 James Madison Dukes this Saturday at 7 p.m. ET.
