FIFA is standing firm despite growing opposition to its proposal to create FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE), a commercial initiative that has sparked widespread criticism from football’s governing bodies around the world.
Following intense backlash from UEFA and CONCACAF, FIFA released a statement insisting that “nobody is selling football” and pledged to continue consulting its member associations before any final decision is made.

FIFA Defends FIFA Forward Enterprise Proposal

According to the governing body, the purpose of FIFA Forward Enterprise is to provide FIFA’s Member Associations with greater commercial opportunities while preserving FIFA’s governance and the integrity of the sport.
