Atlanta United’s preseason is racing to the finish line! It feels like the squad just hit the training ground, but now only one opponent remains before the curtain rises on the 2025 MLS season. The 5-Stripes will face off against Western Conference foes FC Dallas on Saturday, Feb. 15, at noon ET at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground in Marietta.
This final friendly promises plenty of action, as the teams will square off in three 45-minute periods, giving head coach Ronny Deila a prime opportunity to rotate the squad and let players stake their claim for regular-season minutes.
“Everybody gets a lot of playing time,” Deila said. “It’s important everyone has the chance to show themselves.”
Xande Silva, embracing the club’s competitive spirit, made it clear that while it’s a friendly, the 5-Stripes play to win.
