The FX Cup is reaching new heights in 2025.
With 240 total teams registered, this year’s Men’s and Co-Ed divisions officially mark the largest field in FX Cup history, highlighting the continued growth of one of Atlanta’s most beloved soccer traditions.
Well-known teams such as Santa’s Goons, Papa Smurfs, Hooray Beer, Terminus FC, and Co-Ed mainstays Polar Hot Mess, Jingle Ballers, Rebels Without a Claus, Reindeer Rebels, and Unathletico Madrid headline a deep and diverse field that blends competition with community.
Tournament organizers credited the event’s success to the dedication of team managers, volunteers, returning teams, and first-time participants, emphasizing that sportsmanship and camaraderie remain at the heart of FX Cup year after year. Special recognition was given to Steve Dunbar for his continued behind-the-scenes leadership.
Men’s and Co-Ed matches will kick off at noon on Saturday, immediately following the Memorial Gathering. Full event information is available at fxcup.org.
