The Georgia high school boys soccer season is in full swing, with teams competing in games and tournaments to determine their ranking in the Score Atlanta rankings. The Walton Raiders are at the top of the rankings as the defending state champions and have started the season off with two wins. The Marist War Eagles are ranked second, with senior forward Marcus Jones leading the way. The Pope Greyhounds are third, coming off a strong season last year and starting the season with a win and a draw. The Northview Titans, led by senior midfielder Jake Johnson, have started the season with two wins and look like a team that could make some noise in the playoffs. Lastly, the Brookwood Broncos have started off with two wins in their first three games and look like a team that could make a run at the state title.
The sixth-ranked team in the state is the Alpharetta Raiders, led by senior forward Tyler Smith. The Raiders have started the season with two wins and look like they could make some noise in the playoffs. The seventh-ranked team is the Milton Eagles, who are off to a solid start with two wins in their first three games. The Eagles are led by senior midfielder Ryan Rogers, who has been a key contributor to the team’s success. The eighth-ranked team is the Cambridge Bears, who are coming off a strong season last year.
