🦅 Georgia Southern Women’s Soccer Prepares for Fall 2025 Season
The Georgia Southern women’s soccer team officially opened 2025 preseason training on Tuesday, July 29, as the Eagles look to build momentum toward an exciting fall campaign. Under the guidance of Head Coach Chris Adams, the team will host two weeks of practices at Beautiful Eagle Creek, giving fans a perfect chance to see the squad in action ahead of the season opener.
Fans are encouraged to attend practices to support the team and catch a first look at returning starters and new recruits. Practice times are subject to change due to weather, and updates can be found on the program’s official Twitter/X account @GSAthletics_WSO.

⚽ Season Opener and Key Home Matches
The Eagles’ regular season kicks off on Thursday, August 14, at 6 PM, with a home matchup against Samford at Bo Pitts Field. Three of the first four matches will be played in Statesboro:
- Aug. 14: vs. Samford – 6 PM
- Aug. 17: vs. Jacksonville – 1 PM
- Aug. 24: vs. Arkansas – 1 PM (nationally ranked opponent)
The early home-heavy schedule gives the team a valuable opportunity to start strong in front of Eagle Nation.
