The No. 17 Georgia Bulldogs are back in the SEC Women’s Soccer Tournament with momentum, swagger, and a mission: reclaim the crown. Their tournament journey begins Tuesday, November 4 at 3:00 p.m. ET, when they face off against No. 2 seed Kentucky in a highly anticipated quarterfinal showdown at the Foley Sports Tourism Complex in Alabama.
Georgia (10-3-5) earned a first-round bye and enters as the No. 3 seed—their highest since 2001. Under head coach Keidane McAlpine, the Bulldogs have now won a match in three straight SEC tournaments for the first time in program history.
Bulldogs vs. Wildcats: Familiar Foes, High Stakes
This will be the third SEC tournament meeting between the programs. Georgia topped Kentucky 2-1 in the 2023 quarterfinals, and earlier this season, the Dawgs edged the Wildcats again—thanks to freshman Ava Stack’s 79th-minute winner.
