Welcome to Marietta: Uzbekistan Claims Atlanta United’s Turf
In a massive validation of our local infrastructure, the Uzbekistan National Team has officially selected the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground in Marietta as their exclusive home base for the tournament.
The “White Wolves” made their highly anticipated landing in Georgia yesterday, June 10, to kick off their historic, first-ever World Cup campaign. Led by Italian legend, World Cup winner, and Ballon d’Or recipient Fabio Cannavaro, the squad will utilize much of the facility’s brand-new $25 million expansion that opened this past September.

Spain has officially selected the Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee as their base camp. Given that La Roja is scheduled to play two of their group stage matches directly in Atlanta, regional fans traveling up and down the state line will have a front-row seat to world-class soccer royalty preparing for deep tournament runs.
The Broader MLS Integration
The finalized list showcases a massive integration of domestic Major League Soccer infrastructure. Twelve separate MLS organizations are opening their first-team facilities and academy grounds to international delegations.
The greater Kansas City region is operating as a massive four-team epic epicenter (welcoming Argentina, England, the Netherlands, and Algeria), while the New York/New Jersey grid matches that density with four squads of their own (Brazil, Morocco, Haiti, and Senegal).
