ATLANTA, GEORGIA—Playing at home over the weekend proved to be a great schedule for the Georgia State University Panthers Women’s Soccer team.
The Panthers won all its weekend games at home to improve 4-2 in the ongoing NCAA Women Soccer tournament.
On September 3, the Panthers beat the Kennesaw State 2-1.
Panthers striker Grace Kiser scored the game-winning goal in overtime for her team.
Kiser scored a header off a Gracen Crosby corner kick in the 98th minute.
Kiser fought through a pair of KSU defenders to net her second goal of the season.
On September 5, the Panthers also beat Mississippi Valley State 4-0.
The Panthers hope to extend their winning streak to four when they visit Furham on September 10 at Greenville, South Carolina.
