ATLANTA, GEORGIA—The Georgia State University Panthers Women’s Soccer team got its seventh win with a 1-0 road victory against Appalachian State in Boone, North Carolina on Sunday.
Jimena Cabrero provided the lone and winning goal for the Panthers in their exciting game.
The win also improved the Panthers to 2-1-1 in Sun Belt play.
The win also gave the Panthers seven points, good for a share of first place atop the conference standings.
The Panthers hoped to continue their winning ways when they host the dangerous Coastal Carolina Friday at the new GSU Soccer Facility.
