ATLANTA, GEORGIA—The visiting Georgia State University Panthers Women’s Soccer team has won its fifth straight game with a 3-1 win against the home team Louisiana on Thursday.
Brooklynn Fugel scored pair of goals to carry her team to a victory in the opening of Sun Belt play.
The win moved the Panthers to 6-2-1 on the season and push their unbeaten streak to six matches.
The Panthers fell behind 1-0 early against the Ragin’ Cajuns but scored three unanswered goals to collect the win.
The Panthers hoped to continue their winning streak when they visit Texas State at 1 p.m. ET Sunday on ESPN+ at San Marcos, Texas.
