For the first time in program history, the Georgia Gwinnett College women’s soccer team has achieved a milestone with two players earning NAIA All-America honors for the 2024 season.
Senior defender Ola Orelesi, a proud Grayson High School alum, was named to the All-America Second Team, marking the highest individual accolade in the program’s 13-year history. Orelesi’s stellar performances on the backline have solidified her legacy as one of the program’s all-time greats.
Joining her on this historic list is junior goalkeeper Ayano Kurosawa, who earned a spot on the All-America Third Team. Kurosawa’s agility and shot-stopping prowess have been instrumental in the team’s success this season.
This dual recognition highlights the tremendous strides GGC women’s soccer has made and sets the stage for an even brighter future. Congratulations to Orelesi and Kurosawa for making history!
