Play concluded on Sunday for the 2024 Jefferson Cup second weekend, with championships in the Girl’s U9–U14 age divisions up for grabs.
With three titles, Great Falls Reston, SC, and Match Fit Academy lead all clubs.
The following six teams finished in first place numerous times: West-Mont United, NCFC Youth, Real Jersey FC, Richmond Strikers, SJEB FC, SYC Springfield, and Cedar Stars Academy-Monmouth. The remaining teams finished in second place with two championships each.
This year’s competition saw a second-place team from four of the teams who won numerous championships: NCFC Youth, Real Jersey FC, Richmond Strikers, and SJEB FC. A total of forty-four teams emerged victorious from their section, demonstrating the intense rivalry that was present for all age levels.
In the second weekend of play for the famous tournament, 461 teams from throughout the nation fought for the 2022 edition. In one of the best opportunities for cross-league competition of the year, representatives of the nation’s most elite leagues, including Girls Academy, the ECNL, the ECNL Regional League, the US Youth Soccer National League, EDP, and the US Club Soccer National Premier Leagues (NPL), among others, squared off against one another.
Teams from 17 states (Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia) are represented among the teams in attendance.
