The competition revealed on Thursday morning that Mercedes-Benz Stadium will host Atlanta United’s two Group Stage Leagues Cup matches. Atlanta will play D.C. in the opening match of the tournament. All 18 Mexican league teams, LIGA MX, and all 29 Major League Soccer (MLS) teams from the United States and Canada compete in the second Concacaf-sanctioned competition. From July 26 to August 25, 2024, these 47 clubs will engage in a club competition modeled around the World Cup.
