“They’re a big reason I’m here,” Deila said. “We share similar values and have great chemistry. A strong, united culture from the top is crucial, and I felt that immediately with them.”

Deila emphasizes winning through hard work and identity. “We’ll be offensive-minded, pressing high, and energetic. Every player needs to contribute defensively while we control the game with possession and direct play.”

“The team showed good energy and organization during the playoffs,” Deila said. “My job is to fine-tune the details and build on their foundation.”

“Atlanta is a big club with a history of winning,” he said. “With the right culture, player development, and a few key signings, this club has everything it needs to succeed again.”

“We need intensity and dominance,” Deila said. “Defensively, we’ll press high and stay compact. Offensively, it’s about quick transitions, creating space, and building relationships on the pitch.”
