The TOPSoccer Coaching Course, offered by Georgia Soccer and US Youth Soccer’s East/South regions, is a four-hour introductory course for coaches in TOPSoccer, instructed by Sam Snow, US Youth Soccer’s Director of Coaching. This course is held with conjunction with the 2018 TOPSoccer Regional Symposium.
The course guides both the novice and experienced soccer coach in providing a fun growth experience for soccer players with disabilities. The course presents information on player characteristics, the qualities of a good coach, how to utilize the TOPSoccer Buddy and modern coaching methods.
The course begins at 10:00 am at the Georgia Soccer offices, located at 2323 Perimeter Park Dr Ste 200, Atlanta, GA 30341. This will be the classroom portion for the course, with lunch included.
The second half of the course is field session, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The field portion will be held at NASA’s Metro North field, 4645 Paper Mill Road Marietta, GA, 30067.
