Atlanta United announced today that midfielder Santiago Sosa has officially transferred to Racing Club of the Argentine Primera Division for an undisclosed fee.
Sosa spent the 2024 season on loan with Racing, where he made an impressive 48 appearances across all competitions and played a pivotal role in their 2024 Copa Sudamericana title-winning campaign.
The 25-year-old Argentine originally joined Atlanta United in 2021 as a U-22 Initiative signing. Over three seasons in Atlanta, Sosa made 70 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
