Soccer fanatics and aspiring athletes have something to get excited about in August, with a chance to take their skills to the next level. Renowned soccer expert David Said, the current head coach of the George Soccer Olympic Development Team, has set up an intensive soccer program this month. Said holds a U.S Soccer Federation “B” license and has over ten years of coaching experience.
The “Sultan Soccer Mini Camp” is a soccer camp open to both boys and girls, ages ten years and older. There will be a maximum of 15 players per session. The sessions are customized to the level of the players attending the camp. Each player will have 12 hours of soccer development in world-class facilities and will include skills training, small-sided games, soccer tennis, video sessions of player documentaries, and more. Individuals and groups are welcome to attend.
The Sultan Soccer Mini Camp will take place at the Silverbacks Park located at 3200 Atlanta Silverbacks Way, Atlanta, GA 30340. It was formerly the home of the Atlanta Silverbacks of the NASL. The park has been renovated with a brand new turf, will have concession stands, a field-side cafe, and a restaurant with Wi-Fi and television access.
Attendees are REQUIRED to take their own soccer equipment (ball, shin guards, cleats), snacks, and water.
The Sessions are as follows:
- August 3 to 6 (9 AM to 12 Noon)
- August 10 to 13 (9 AM to 12 Noon)
